Money Money Money


Recently I bought Alvin Hall's You and Your Money and started reading it. I thought about buying it several years ago, when I saw Alvin Hall on a breakfast show and he talked about some of his good ideas. Back then I didn't have a lot of money so I said I couldn't afford his book, LOL.

Darn it

This is one of my favourite cardigans, a pale green cashmere from a twin set I bought when I got my first Fellowship.  I always wanted to wear a twin set and pearls while giving my lecture on Queer Theory!

A Lost Generation




 I graduated in the Thatcher years, the 1980s, into high unemployment and a sense of shame as people working in car factories and mines were pushed out by glittering city bankers.
